New Toshiba 5000 Series UPS offered by Stowers Power Systems

Stowers Power Systems is now offering the new Toshiba 5000 Series Uninterruptible Power System for industrial and outdoor applications. Toshiba International Corporation launched the new series Oct. 16, 2016, which is available in 20 to 50 kVA ratings and offers double-conversion UPS protection for industrial markets such as chemical processing, mining, oil exploration, waste water treatment, pulp and paper, manufacturing, and heavy transportation controls. “The Toshiba 5000 Series UPS is purpose built for heavy duty industrial applications and includes one of the first available UPS models to meet the NEMA 3R rating,” stated Greg Mack, Vice President and General Manager [read more…]

Caterpillar to Explore Strategic Alternatives for Certain Mining Products

Caterpillar announced Aug. 22 that it is making changes to its product line-up, including that it will discontinue production of track drills and is reviewing its room and pillar product lines, which serve a segment of underground soft rock mining customers. Stowers’ Machine Demo Day 2016

More than 500 folks turned out for Stowers’ Machine Demo Day April 29 to experience machine demonstrations and get to know Stowers’ people a little bit better. If you weren’t able to make it, here’s a little bit of what happened: 1. A Trimble machine control and guidance technology demo by SITECH allowed Demo Day attendees to operate excavators and dozers equipped with this technology.         2.
